On 4 July 2012, CERN announced the discovery of a new boson, later confirmed to be "a Higgs boson", but which one? Is it the Higgs boson predicted by the Standard Model of particle physics or one of the five Higgs bosons associated with Supersymmetry? Theoretical physicist John Ellis joined experimental physicists to talk about Supersymmetry, also known as SUSY. What is it? Why and how does it link with the Higgs boson?
